Former Mo’Hits recording artiste and multiple award winning Nigerian super star D’banj, has expressed shock at the success of his globally acclaimed single, ‘Oliver Twist’ which was produced by Don Jazzy.
This was disclosed in an interview on recently concluded Big Brother Africa show on Dstv. D’banj revealed that although he hopes for the best in every song he writes, the success recorded by Oliver Twist was unprecedented.
The international pop star was signed along with former producer Don Jazzy to Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D Music as artiste and producer respectively in 2011.
His recently released single since leaving Mo’Hits Record in a widely publicized media fight ‘Oyato,’ was received with mixed reactions. D’banj has since gone on to sign prolific producer Jay sleek who produced the song to his label, D’banj records.
