  1. People travelling to east and south still sufered unneccessary delay 2 days ago because of bad road(benin-ore), major part communities in lagos is, as @ now, without power supply. It is very shameful for a country as big and rich as our to be talking and aiming for 5000megawt while some smaller countries are generating something higher. It is very disgraceful to be refering to many outfit and structures in nigeria as airports dispite the fact that many of our leaders travel to other sane countries where leaders are true leaders. Let even turn attention to cotonou, nearby, the only road that can be compared with any road in that country, maybe abuja roads. From mr president’s speech, therefore, am now convinced more, that our dark days are yet to be over, maybe 2015.

  2. @ Ike Celestine: mr President did not say we are perfect, he only said we are making efforts and of a truth, progress has been made in the mentioned areas. Can specify the smaller countries generating more than 5000MW, relate it to their land mass and population. I ve been enjoying power here, if not for anything. I’d say well done to the president for that. Pray for him, instead of berating him at the slightest opportunity. That is supposed to be the job of yoruba people.
