The district head of Madagali, in Adamawa State, Dr. Sa’ad Danburam, has been shot dead by unknown gunmen in Maiduguri, Borno State. He was said to have been shot after observing his evening prayer time.
Confirming the incident, Adamawa’s Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr Mohammed Ibrahim, said the traditional ruler was killed in Maiduguri while on a visit to Borno State.
Madagali, where Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Mr Bala Ngillari and the Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly, Mr Ahmadu Fintiri, hailed from, is now in deep mourning with the killing of Danburam.
Let’s jst face d fact. There is nothing the govt. Can do abt the killings. This true because they probably are nt ready to put an end to this barbaric act. If the govt. really want to put an end to this killings, they shud have involved foreign intelligent agencies that have kin interest in combating terrorism.
