UEFA Champions League Quarter-Finals Match Day 2 Preview

The Champions league continues today as Real Madrid hosts Galatasaray. This encounter will see Didier Drogba re-unite with his former coach Jose Mourinho but as an opposition this time. Both men hold themselves in high esteem as they have worked and tasted success together in Chelsea.
Drogba confessed that Jose Mourinho will always be special to him and the special one also said that “Drogba will be part of my life forever”. Drogba also faces ex Chelsea team mates like Micheal Essien who is on loan to Madrid from Chelsea and Richardo Carvalho but the Ivorian insists that his main priority is to go through to the semi-finals at the expense of Real Madrid. The recent signing of Wesley sneijder and Drogba seems to have boosted this Turkish side as this is the first time since 2001 that they have qualified for the quater finals.
Meanwhile, Mourinho will be looking to overcome Galatasaray and go all the way to win the trophy for the third time having previously done so with FC Porto and Internazionale.He will also hope that Benabeu’s star man Ronaldo “attends the party”so as to give the fans what to cheer about after their disappointing campaign in the La-liga this season.
Malaga welcomes Borrussia Dortmund to the La Rosaleda stadium. Both teams have exceeded all expectations as no one really thought they will make it this far. Dortmund finished first in their group ahead of Real Madrid and have been tipped by many to go very far in this competition based on their fantastic performances.
Debutants Malaga have also been very impressive finishing first in group C four points ahead of AC milan. Isco their star player has also been in fine form and has been key to their champions league success this season. Manuel pelligrini will be looking to overcome a star studed Dortmund side with the likes of Reus, Gotze and Lewandoswski who have the capacity to harm any side on the attack.
