Aged 67, Rabi, popularly known as ‘Uwar Soron Kano, died on Thursday night and was buried on Friday according Islamic rites.
The Chief Imam of Kano, Prof Sani Zaharaddeen, led the funeral prayers for the deceased around 8:00 a.m.
Those who attended the prayers include the State Deputy Governor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje and Emir of Dass in Bauchi State, Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu Usman.
Others include top government officials and traditional rulers from the 44 local government areas of the state.
She is survived by her husband, Alhaji Ado Bayero and many children and grand children.
Among her children are the Dan-Lawan Kano and District Head of Takai, Alhaji Bashir Ado Bayero and Umar Ado Bayero, among others.
Meanwhile, sympathisers from within and outside the state have continued to troop to the palace to condole the Emir, Alhaji Ado Bayero.
