Omeri, who spoke during a stakeholder’s meeting in Calabar, Cross River State yesterday, said the country belongs to all Nigerians and as such what happens can only be decided by them, not political parties.
He said, “The crisis perpetuated by political parties are aimed at disrupting governance of the state and indoctrinate the minds of Nigerians against the state. Of course, I know that, that is not possible. No political party can succeed in dividing or breaking this country”.
The NOA boss commended the performance of President Goodluck Jonathan in the face of enormous challenges and urged politicians to think about the unity of the country.
According to him, the 2015 election would come and go, but Nigeria will remain indivisible.
