Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey and his Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger have scooped the Barclays Player and Manager of the Month award respectively for September.
The ‘Gunners’ lost none of their four fixtures in September, which saw them climb to the top of the League standing.
Ramsey, 22, picking up the award for the first time, scored four goals in the Premier League during the month, including a brace against Sunderland on September 14 and also scored against Stoke City and Swansea.
His 63-year-old manager picks up the award for the 13th time, after guiding the North London side to a maximum 12 points from four games and into the top spot in the league.
“Very happy to be named Premier League player of the month for September. Hoping for an even better October,” the former Cardiff player tweeted (@aaronramsey)
