Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command, Mr. Lucky Uyabeme, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), has died in a motor accident.
Uyabeme died on Sunday evening when the Toyota Highlander SUV he was driving somersaulted several times along Ogwashi-Uku-Kwale road in the state, before plunging into a ditch.
The PPRO, who was on his way to Asaba when the accident happened, reportedly died on the spot before any assistance could reach him.
The two other persons who were riding with him however survived the crash, and were rushed to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Asaba.
