Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo (Kano North) has sponsored free medical treatment for 3, 000 persons in his constituency.

The exercise was carried out by the Kano State Medical Students Association led by Rufa’i Datti Gwarzo.

The free medical exercise paid for by the Senate’s Chief Whip held in three districts of Gwarzo local government areas which covers 10 wards.

Drugs were distributed to the beneficiaries free of charge during the exercise.

Excited by his constituent’s reaction to the gesture, Senator Gwarzo promised to sustain the programme as part of effort to provide quality healthcare service to the people.

‘Betterment of standard of living of primary constituency and Nigerians at large’, is Gwarzo’s target as a senator. He believes he has been doing that a lot, but says there is still more to be done.
