Ex- Kaduna Deputy Gov Blames Southern Kaduna Attacks On Yero, Jonathan

jos-massacreThe incessant killings in some communities in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State has been blamed on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP-led government, according to a former deputy governor of the state, Engr James Bawa Magaji.

Magaji, who apportioned the blame during the donation of relief materials to the victims, accused the present governments at both the state and federal levels of insensitivity to the plight of the poor.

“Nigerians must wake up from their sleep and work for change. The problem of security in Nigeria has raised a big question about the role of the government. The present government must be changed if we must get out of this crisis. If a government cannot protect lives and property of its citizens, such a government needs to be shown the way out”, Magaji said.

The former deputy governor said many Southern Kaduna indigenes were still in shock that gunmen could operate freely for so many hours without security agents coming to their rescue.

Earlier when he paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Moro’a, Mr. Tagwai Sambo, Magaji appealed for calm even as he urged the people to be vigilant.

Receiving the items, the council chairman, Kumai Badu, said: “Had it been God was not with us, no house would have been spared around the Ganawuri Plateau border. These things are happening because we have neighbours who harbour our attackers”.
