sule_lamido_360x225Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State will contest the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential primary elections, Chairman of the party in Jigawa Central Senatorial Zone, Alhaji Aminu Jahun said yesterday.

In a chat with Daily Trust, Jahun said: “I want to assure you that we are still on our resolve that Governor Sule Lamido will contest the PDP presidential primaries. As soon as President Goodluck Jonathan picks the nomination form for the presidential primaries, Lamido will be the second person who will pick the nomination form and we hope to pull surprises”.

Jahun said as a leader of the party in Jigawa, he was speaking on behalf of the governor, adding that he (Lamido) does not need to come out to say he would be contesting.
