There’s an old saying, “You can’t fight City Hall,” but you shouldn’t twerk there either.
Three women were arrested Monday afternoon after two of them began “twerking”near the municipal court windows in Beaverton, Oregon.
The third woman filmed their performance on her phone.
Investigators said the incident started when Coura Valazquez, 20, visited municipal court to pay a fine for a warrant. She was accompanied by Brittany Medak, 20, and Leokham Yothsombath, 22.
When the trio left the building, Valazquez and Medak started “twerking” while Yothsombath filmed it, KPTV.com reports.
During the “twerking,” Valazquez and Medak, who are both from Vancouver, Washington, allegedly exposed their genitals.
Police said Medak also urinated between two cars, according to KOIN.com.
The twerking trio drove away in Medak’s vehicle, but were pulled over by a police officer a few blocks away.
Police said Medak allowed the officer to search her vehicle where he found cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana.
All the women were arrested on multiple drug possession charges. Medak also faces a charge of offensive littering for her alleged urination, KGW.com reports.
Yothsombath later took to her Facebook page to set the record straight about the arrest. The post has since been closed.
