Ramalan YeroGovernor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero of Kaduna State, on Monday threatened to personally deal with anyone, no mattr how highly placed, who foments trouble in the state.

He spoke at a ceremony at Dankande Town where he distributed various foodstuff to the people of the state.

“Let me tell you here and you better open your ears and listen attentively. Anybody, no matter his status, who tries to cause any trouble in this state, I shall deal with him severely. And if anyone thinks I’m joking he should try Ramalan Yero”, he said.

Yero appealed to the people to preach peace where ever they find themselves and never to take laws in to their hands. He also promised to keep doing his best to make sure Kaduna remained peaceful.

Information Nigeria reports that the state government distributed thousands of bags of rice and maize, and cartons of spaghetti to the people of the state. The beneficiaries included various community groups and individuals in the 23 local governments.

The governor noted that the government’s gesture was to ameliorate the current hardships being experienced by people of the state.
