explosionScores were feared dead Monday afternoon at the premises of Kano School of Health Technology located along Gida Murtala–BUK Road.

It was learnt that the improvised explosive device, which appeared to emanate from a parking lot close to the office of the provost, school of hygiene – a post-secondary training school, went off around 2pm.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Magaji Majia, Assistant Superintendent of Police,confirmed the explosion but declined to provide details as he was not yet at the scene.
