Stoke City have signed Steve Sidwell, following the midfielder’s release from Fulham FC.
The 31-year-old ex-Arsenal youth player have signed a two-year deal with the Porters.
He becomes the Premier League club’s second signing of the summer following the recruitment of Phil Bardsley.

Steve was much in demand and we are delighted to have won the race to secure his signature,” said Stoke’s chief executive Tony Scholes.
Sidwell was signed by Mark Hughes- then at the helm of the Craven Cottage club- in 2011, from Aston Villa.
He played in all 38 of Stoke’s league matches in the 2013/14 season, scoring seven goals.
Sidwell has also played for Chelsea and reading.
