Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert is keen on a sensational move for Chelsea FC winger Victor Moses in a bid to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.
The Telegraph reports Lambert would want to sign the Nigeria World Cup star on a season-long loan, but awaits Jose Mourinho’s decision.
Chelsea are believed to be willing to allow the 23-year-old out for another season, but would rather weigh the most suitable opportunity, after ending up playing second fiddle at Liverpool last season.
Moses is also a transfer target for a host of other Premier League outfits, such as: Everton, Newcastle United, former club Crystal Palace, West Bromwich Albion and West Ham United.
Villa returns from their tour of the United States on Tuesday. They have already landed former Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole, Phillipe Senderos and Kieran Richardson.
