English Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly poised to loan Chidiebere Nwakali to Belgian club
The Nigeria youth international joined the Premier League champions after the 2013
Fifa U-17 World Cup in the UAE, where the Golden Eaglets emerged victorious for a record fourth time.
He has featured for City youth setup and was part of the team’s pre-season training in Scotland, where he picked up a knee injury.
“The loan deal would last till January,” Nwakali, who is expected to depart London by the middle of this month.
“It is good for my game since I would further develop and have a first-team experience which is different from youth set up.”
Nwakali is back in London and says he is already gearing up for the challenges ahead.
