West Bromwich Albion striker, Saido Berahino is to be investigated after being arrested for drunk-driving.
The Burundi-born England youth international was stopped while traveling at “high speed” on the M6 motorway in Cheshire in the early hours of Wednesday, October 22, according to a police spokeswoman.
Two days before, Berahino had scored in the 2-2 draw against Manchester United.
He was interviewed and bailed and is due to return to a Cheshire police station to be debriefed further in December.
