Kano Pillars’ Gambo Muhammed Resumes Training

Kano Pillars striker Gambo Muhammed has started light training over two months after suffering gunshot wound in an attack by armed bandits.

Gambo suffered injury setback during an armed robbery attack on the Nigerian champions’ bus along Abuja-Lokoja road on their way to Owerri to honour a Glo Premier League Match Day 1 fixture against Heartland FC.

He underwent surgery and has been under close watch of the medics.

Pillars media officer Idris Malikawa disclosed that the Nigeria international went through his pace briefly at the Sani Abacha stadium on Monday morning.
