Gabonese striker and Arsenal target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has signed a new deal with German club Borussia Dortmund until the end of the 2019-20 season.
The 26-year-old scored 16 goals in 33 league matches last season as the 2011 and 2012 German champions ended a disappointing campaign in seventh position- the fourth highest goal tally in the Bundesliga.
He has been linked with a number of European clubs this summer, including Arsenal.
“Every part of me wants to be here and I have never wanted to leave,” he told the club’s official website.
Aubameyang joined Dortmund from St Etienne two years ago and has scored 29 times in 66 league games for the Red and White.
