Kano Pillars have re-signed Bala Mohammed three years after offloading the experienced defender.
Bala was captain of the Pyramid city side when they reached the semi-finals of the Caf Champions League in 2009.
Spokesman of the Glo Premier League champions Idris Malikawa confirmed to AfricanFootball.com that “Bala’s transfer has been completed.”
Bala, who was released by Pillars in the 2011-12 season, has also featured for Jigawa Golden Stars and Enyimba.
Pillars entertain Lobi Stars on Sunday when the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season resumes.
Pillars are ninth on the standings with 27 points from 19 games, nine points adrift of league leaders Sunshine Stars.
