Wanted: West Brom Reject Spurs’ 2ND Bid for Berahino

West Bromwich Albion have turned down a second offer from Tottenham Hotspur for Saido Berahino, the Premier League club have announced.

According to Sky Sports, the White a Hart Lane outfit, who have just two points from three league games this season, have submitted a bid quoted at £22m for the Burundi-born striker.

West Brom confirmed on Monday that it has rejected a transfer request by Berahino, who is understood to be keen on a move away from the Hawthorns.

Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace, said: “Our position remains unchanged. The sale of this player is not on our agenda.”

Berahino scored 14 goals in 38 appearances last season and is under contract at West Brom until 2017.
