Since his confirmation as the Red Devils’ new boss, Jose Mourinho is said to have viewed this £3.9million CASTLE twice in recent weeks.

The secluded Castell Gyrn, which is located just outside the Welsh town of Ruthin, is just an hour’s drive from Manchester.

According to Daily Mirror, the ‘Special One’ plans to live in North Wales during his tenure as Manchester United manager.

From the outside looking in, the mansion looks as if it is hundreds of years old, but it is in reality one of the youngest castles in Wales at just 39-years-old.

Complete with draught exclusion, underfloor heating and double glazing, it also has a huge Welsh dragon which breathes fire when vehicles enter the gates.

The four-storey castle stands in 43 acres of rolling countryside and boasts a cinema room, library and butler’s pantry. The 12-sided castellated tower has stunning views across the Clwyd valley, with Snowdon in the distance.

There are six bedrooms, five bathrooms and several reception rooms – plenty of room for Mourinho, his wife Matilde and their two children.
