The All Progressives Congress(APC) Senator from Kaduna state said there’s a lesson, to learn from the polls and a message for everyone from the polls.
Shehu Sani also noted that there’s ‘a warning and an opportunity to reset the meters and clock of our confidence and complacency.’
He wrote:

What happened in Osun state is a show of shame by INEC and the APC led govt and a constitutional breach. INEC should do the needful by giving Adeleke his victory, any thing short of that will spell doom. We should learn from history and allow change to change itself. Let no blood of an Osun indigene be shared as no party ambition is worth such blood. Losers must accept defeat as Jonathan bravely did in 2015 and become heroes and the real winners. Bravo Osun people, do not give up nor give in to the forces of darkness. The entire world is behind you all and keenly watching. Your rights cannot be taken away like that by those who see power as the ultimate. God is and keeping watch over you all therefore resolute for the power they seek dubiously is yours and not theirs and God will not allow them. Thanks
