Senator Shehu Sani has taken a serious swipe at governors abandon their states while it burns and take solace in the Federal capital territory, Abuja.
The lawmaker said this on Monday, while speaking via his Twitter handle. Sani accused the governors living lige in Abuja with the pretense of meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
While their states are in flames,most of the Governors spent Mondays to Thursdays in Abuja in the name of meeting with Mr President. And on Fridays, praying with Mr President in the Villa mosques.
Meanwhile, the lawmaker representing Kaduna Central in the Senate in an earlier tweet said “a nation has lost its soul and humanity when it only has to take a public outrage, rebuke, and objection for its Leaders to respond to the tragedy of its people”.
