Some morgue attendants were shocked beyond word after 4 women stormed the premises to fight over a corpse they all claim is their husband.
Reports have it that the women whose names were simply given as Janet Wambui, Lydia Wanjiru, Susan Wakuthii with the fourth yet to be identified, stormed the Kirinyaga County Funeral Parlour in Kenya to claim the body of a man whose name is given as Peter Mwangi Gichobi. Until his death, he was a boda boda rider.
The late 32-year-old taxi driver died in a road accident on Nyangati-Embu road about a month ago.
The ladies fought themselves while trying to convince everyone that they were his wife until police officers came over to the morgue to separate them.
The deceased had a son with each of the women. The mortuary has however stated that the deceased’s death certificate would be given to his next of kin who was his uncle.
