The Lagos state police command has arrested a certain Baruwa Eleniyan, the head of touts who reportedly battered Shoki Shitta for disrespecting Wizkid while singing the praise of Davido on Instagram.
This is coming barely 24 hours after a video of Baruwa Eleniyan and his boys severely beating Shoki Shitta surfaced online and went viral.
Shoki got beaten up for publicly slamming Wizkid for not settling them when he came to Shitta, Surulere in Lagos state.
Reports have it that Baruwa was arrested on Wednesday night and police have retrieved some text messages between himself and Wizkid. The text revealed details on how Shoki was nabbed and being dealt with.
Shoki had in an earlier video been heard told friends to stop listening to Wizkid because the latter refused to settle them before going on to sing the praise of Davido.
Reacting to the attack, Wizkid took to his Instastory to write;
“Starboy condone no violence! Peace, love and blessings. One Love.”
