3 Arrested For Alleged Kidnapping, Killing Of 5-Year-Old Boy In Kano

The Police in Kano state have arrested three men for allegedly kidnapping and killing a 5-year-old boy in the state.

The suspects — Ibrahim Ahmad,20, Abdumajid Mohammed,18, and Musa Sanusi, 18— allegedly kidnapped the deceased, Ahmad Ado, at Ma’ahat Nursery and Primary School, Karkasara

According to the Commissioner of Police in the state, Ahmed Iliyasu, while briefing journalists in Kano on Thursday, on July 10 at 1:30 p.m, the police received a report that Ado, of Karkasara Quarters, Kano had been kidnapped by unknown persons.

He said the kidnappers contacted his family and demanded N50 million as ransom.

However the CP said a team of Operation Puff Adder detectives from anti-kidnapping squad went straight into the action, using technical intelligence, and we’re able to apprehend the suspects.

The commissioner said that the suspects confessed to have drugged the victim after they kidnapped him, leading to his death at Sheka Sabuwar, Abuja Quarters, Kano.

“The suspects buried the dead body in a shallow grave at an uncompleted building.

” Scene was visited by experts and the remains were exhumed,” he said.

The police boss asked well-meaning Nigerians to come up with things that could help the ongoing investigation.
