The Super Eagles of Nigeria have booked their place in the quarter-final at the ongoing Total African Cup of Nations holding in Egypt after defeating Cameroon in the round of 16.
The Super Eagles opened the scoring in the 16th minute through their prolific striker, Odion Ighalo.
However, the lead was short lived as the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon went on to restore parity after just 10 more minutes of play.
The North African side went on to take the lead before the halftime after some shoddy defending from the Super Eagles backline.
Nigeria, however, went on to turn the result around with two more goals in the second half to finish the match 3-2.
