Group Sues Peter Okoye For Not Performing At Event After Getting N2.8m Payment

The defunct duo of P Square, Peter Okoye popularly called Mr. P has been called out by a group, West Africa State League, alleging that the singer collected a sum of N2.8 million naira and did not show up for the event.

According to the public announcement made by the group, Mr. P Peter failed to turn up for a concert after he was paid N2.8 million.

The group also claimed that the musician failed to return the money paid to him despite several warnings from a lawyer.

The group said through their Instagram page.

“West Africa State League is taking Mr P of Psquare to court for his fraudulent act. After collecting money to perform at the inauguration ceremony of WASLEAGUE organized by West Africa Youth Support Development Forum in partnership with West Africa YOUTH COUNCIL. And Peter failed to show up on the event and refused to pay back the money after serval warnings from our lawyer. This is very bad, that the person we the youths are looking up to is the one who failed us.”
