According to reports, a lecturer in the Department of Quantity Surveying at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, Osun State, Dr. (Mrs) Akintola has passed away after giving birth.

According to the management of the University, Mrs Akintola died on Monday due to complications resulting from the birth of her set of twins.

According to reports the late lecturer fell ill after giving birth to a set of twins and died on Monday.

The Public Relations Officer of the university, Abiodun Olanrewaju, confirmed Akintola’s death in a telephone conversation with PUNCH.
