Singers, Omah Lay And Tems Arrive In Nigeria

Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, The Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, has announced the arrival of Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems.

Both singers are finally back in Nigeria.

Information Nigeria recalls that the duo were arrested in Uganda for violating COVID-19 protocols by performing at a crowded concert.

The musicians along with their manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi were charged to court and subsequently released following the intervention of their colleagues.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Dabiri-Erewa wrote;

“Stanley Omah Didia (@Omah_Lay), Temilade Openiyi (@temsbaby), Muyiwa Ayoniyi and others just landed at the MMIA Lagos from Uganda via Ethiopia Airline at about 12:35 pm local time. We are glad they are finally home.

 Alls well that ends well. Gratitude to Min @GeoffreyOnyeama, our mission in Uganda and the @GovUganda for a quick resolution.”
