Italy triumphed over England on penalties to win the Euro 2020, denying the Three Lions their first major trophy in 55 years at Wembley.
Luke Shaw scored for England inside two minutes to give the host the lead, however, the Azzuri got back into the game courtesy of Leonardo Bonucci’s equaliser in the 67th minute.

With both sides failing to find the winner in normal and extratine, the game proceeded to penalties.
Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka missed in the shoot-out as the Italians triumphed 3-2 to lift the coveted trophy.
