Ahmed Musa Joins Turkish Side Sivasspor

Super Eagles forward and captain Ahmed Musa is now a Sivasspor player.

Upon mutual consent, the winger joined the Turkish Super Lig club on a two-year contract moments after leaving Fatih Karagumruk.

“Sivasspor has tied Nigeria player Ahmed Musa to their colours….” Sivasspor wrote on their official website.

Sivasspor head coach Riza Calimbay is reported to have personally asked for the Nigerian’s signature.

Ahmed Musa has played top-flight football in Nigeria, Turkey, England, Saudi Arabia, and Russia.

Sivasspor is doing everything possible to register Musa for the Europa League before the deadline for player registration.

The player is Nigeria’s top scorer at the FIFA World Cup. He has also netted 88 times in 354 games at the club level.

The Nigerian captain is also one of the most capped Eagles, with over 100 caps.
