Nigerian Rapper, Ice Prince Arrested For Kidnapping, Assaulting Police Officer

Ice Prince Zamani, a Nigerian rapper, has been arrested for kidnapping and assaulting a police officer, and is scheduled to appear in court today, September 2.

The Lagos State Police Command’s public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed that the popular rapper was arrested in the early hours of Friday.

Hundeyin on his Twitter account, provided details about the rapper’s arrest, including how and when it happened.

Benjamin Hundeyin wrote: “At 3am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station.

He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.

Rapper Ice Prince arrested for driving without license plate and abducting a police officer. He would be arraigned today”.
