Putin Not Attending Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral – Russian Govt.

Russian President, Vladimir Putin, will not be attending the burial of Queen Elizabeth, his spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov has disclosed.

Putin’s presence at the Queen’s funeral “is not being considered,” Peskov added, despite the fact that “Russians respected her for her wisdom.”

Queen Elizabeth II, who was the longest-reigning queen in the history of the United Kingdom, passed away on Thursday at the age of 96.

Tributes to her have flooded in from international leaders and notable figures from all over the world.

She passed away peacefully in the afternoon at Balmoral Castle, her estate in the Scottish Highlands, signaling the end of an era in the UK.

Glowing condolences were paid to her by world leaders who praised her after Buckingham Palace announced her passing.

She promptly transfers the throne to her son and heir Charles, who would be referred to as King Charles III.
