I Will End Strikes In Universities, Take Education As Priority – Obi Vows

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has promised to put and end to strikes in Universities and take education as a priority if elected into power next year.

Obi made the promise on Wednesday at the party’s rally in Ibadan at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.

Obi said : “We will make sure there is no strike in Universities, we will take education as priority because we want to educate our people,

“We shall turn the vast land to Agriculture land to feed this country, youth of Nigeria will have job, we shall fight corruption together because it is killing the future of Nigerian youths, people are stealing money meant for the development of Nigeria.

Obi, at the event applauded elder statesman, Ayo Adebanjo, for his support and for standing for equity, fairness and justice, which he identified as the foundation for a united Nigeria.

He also revealed plans to create enabling environment for the youths to succeed.

The LP candidate said: “We will make sure there is no strike in Universities, we will take education as priority because we want to educate our people, we shall turn the vast land to Agriculture land to feed this country, youth of Nigeria will have job, we shall fight corruption together because it is killing the future of Nigerian youths, people are stealing money meant for the development of Nigeria.

“I and my deputy are wealth creators; we are not wealth sharers; we will create wealth for Nigerians, Nigeria today have become a laughing stock, people are not proud to say we are Nigerians, they are now running away from their country.
