Skales, a Nigerian musician and songwriter, has stated that he had a mutual songwriting experience with his award-winning colleague, Wizkid, while they were both signed to the music record firm EME.
The singer said in his recent interview in ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ with Nigerian skit maker Isbae U that he and Wizkid used to write songs for themselves.
He claimed that he and WizKid used to support one another lyrically and assist each other in writing songs in the past.
Skales stated that he wrote the hit song “Wiz Party” for Wizkid, who then wrote “Mukulu” for him.
In his words: “So back in EME, we were team. We used to like for each other, you know look out for each other lyrically. So whatever song that I did for Wiz”.
“He also did something for me like Mukulu. I also did Wiz party own too. So like I said it’s a team work back in EME”.
