Kanye West Deletes His Instagram Account After Complaining Over Name Change

Kanye West, an American musician, has deleted his Instagram account following his outburst about officially changing his name to Ye.

The rapper’s social media page, which had 20 million followers, is no longer visible.

This is coming after the 46-year-old star complained on the platform that people are still attempting to “force” him to use his previous name. Last October, a Los Angeles judge legally granted his name change.

In a screenshot of a message sent to Justin LaBoy. Ye stated: “I’m closing my Kanye West Instagram account.”

He continued: “My name is Ye. No brand or numbers gonna force me to call myself what they want me to still be.”, as reported by the Mirror.

The singer also announced that his Instagram name would be changed to Ye shortly.
