‘Let’s Save The Entertainment Industry’ – AGN President Calls For Prayers Over Incessant Deaths In Nollywood

IB 1The shocking news of the death of veteran Nollywood actor – Justus Esiri who reportedly passed on to the great beyond Tuesday night after battling diabetes, has elicited a response from the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN); ex-beauty queen & actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima.

Fiberesima in a press release, called for prayers from stakeholders in the industry following the incessant deaths that rocked Nollywood in 2012; a development that appears to have crept into 2013 with Esiri’s demise.

With the incessant deaths occurring in the entertainment industry this year, it’s high time we put a stop to it. We must surrender our lives to Almighty God irrespective of our religious believes. Let’s come together and embark on prayers and commit our industry and practitioners to God. We need serious Prayers. We must reject death in the entertainment industry.
