I’m Not Perfect, Forgive Me Where I Erred, Jonathan Begs Nigerians

President JonathanPresident Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday urged Nigerians, who might have been offended in the process of taking decisions during his eight years as Vice President, acting President and President, to forgive him.

Mr. Jonathan will be handing over to Muhammadu Buhari on May 29, 2015.

The president pointed out that since nobody was perfect, there was no way he would not have taken some decisions that wouldn’t go down well with some people, pleading that such decisions were not taken to deliberately hurt them.

Jonathan made the appeal during a farewell service organised for him and his family at the Aso Villa Chapel.

He particularly noted that there are times one would take a decision in the best interest of all but even friends would misunderstand the situation.

He, however, pleaded for understanding from all Nigerians.

Today is the last time Jonathan and his family would be worshipping in the chapel as President as Sunday Service will not hold there on May 24.
