A new report has confirmed that a2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidate incurred has been arrested by the management of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for editing his result.

The young man who goes by the name Kingsley Unekwe is said to have increased his score from 201 to 269 with the help of some fraudsters, so he could deceive his parents who wanted him to study Medicine.

JAMB Registrar, Prof Is-haq Oloyede while speaking on the case said that the boy confessed to the crime in the presence of his mother and other officials on Friday, August 16, adding that the boy pleaded for mercy claiming he did not know it came off a fraudulent act.
